Drugs and Medical Devices - ADVERTISEMENT

Drug and Medical Device manufacturers play an important and vital role in our advanced society.  Their innovations are nothing short of amazing and should be encouraged and lauded.  With these advancements come great responsibility to provide full disclosure of the inherent risks of use and to avoid putting harmful drugs/devices on the market.  It is a trial attorney's job to hold manufacturers' feet to the fire and hold them responsible for short cuts in the name of profits at the expense of your health.

Medical device and drug cases are fact specific and require thorough investigation by a team of attorneys and medical professionals.  We team with some of the best to evaluate claims and get results for our clients. We are currently screening cases for the following drugs and medical devices:
  1. Actos - A diabetes drug which helps a patient's body use insulin more efficiently.  The potential cause of action (case) is for the manufacturer's failure to warn of risks of bladder cancer.
  2. Xarelto - This drug treats atrial fibrillation (A-Fib) and can help prevent blood clots in surgery patients.  The claim is another failure to warn that the clot prevention the drug is designed for may be un-reversable causing uncontrollable GI tract and brain bleeding.
  3. Stryker Rejuvenate Hip Implant - This is a NON METAL on METAL hip implant. The device's parts can erode and lead to metallosis, device failure, elevated cobalt levels, tumor-like formation, and osteolysis.
  4. Viagra - You know the intended use of this drug but the cases come from Pfizer's failure to warn of an increase in the invasiveness of melanoma which can reduce the window for effective cancer treatment.
  5. Metal on Metal Hip Implants - These include DePuy, Zimmer, Biomet, Wright Medical, and others.  The cause of action for these devices comes from a breakdown of the metal surfaces leading to abnormal wear, device failure, elevated cobalt and chromium levels, metallosis and pseudotumor formation.
  6. Power Morcellator - This is a device used in laparoscopic hysterectomy or fibroid surgery.  Cases result from the manufacturer's failure to warn of increased risk of an invasive uterine cancer.
We are reviewing these and other similar drug and medical device cases.  Your case is fact specific and you must consult directly with a competent attorney before acting or failing to act on a potential cause of action.  Critical elements of your case however require that you have taken/used the drug or device and that the harm actually occurred and that harm is documented by medical professionals.

I'm a lawyer not a doctor so check with your doctor before making any changes to your medical treatment.  Because I'm a lawyer I'm telling you that this is an advertisement designed to have you call my office to discuss a possible case.  If you have a case I want to sign you as a client.
